Olympic Tryouts 1936

The 1936 Western Regional Olympic Try-Outs were held in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, June 27, 1936. Although the winners of the competition were thrilled they won the right to compete in the Olympic Finals to be held at Randall's Island in New York, they all soon found out that they would have to pay the price of transportation to New York themselves.
