"Olympic
Lowdown from a Guy in the Know"
-- Mullin. A cartoonist by the name of Mullin created
caricatures of the athletes he predicted would either do or
not do something at the Olympic game events to be held in
Berlin, Germany.
The Olympic characters depicted were Frank Wykoff,
Jesse Owens, Archie San Romani,
Donald Lash, pole vault-- Graber,
Sefton, and Meadows, John
Woodruff -- and coach Dean Cromwell.

of Coach Dean Cromwell:
"I Was Not Surprised When Frank Wykoff came through to
make his THIRD OLYMPIC TEAM - he was the best 100 yard man
of all time -- at 26 he Has Never Been Far Out of Shape"
Frank Wykoff placed 4th in
the 100 Meter Race but won a Gold in the
400 Meter Relay race as an anchor - others on that relay
team were: Jesse Owens; Ralph Metcalfe, and Foy Draper.

& 200 Meter Race Mullin said that "Owens is 'THREE' of
the greatest athletes ever to represent America"
Results of Prediction:
Right on -- three 1st places -- one in the Broad Jump (8,6
Meter), Sprinting: 100 meter (10.3s.), and 200 meter race
(20.7s.) -- PLUS, Jesse Owens won another Gold medal
participating in the 400 Meter Relay (39.8s.)

one race.

vault..."
Results of the prediction: "It was a rainy day --Wednesday
(August 5, 1936) -- when Earl Meadows USA created a new
Olympic Record when he vaulted a fraction under 14 feet 3"
on a rain-soaked ground and brought home the Gold Medal"
However, Graber and Sefton did not place 2nd or third.

Tuesday, August 4, 1936 John Woodruff - USA won the race in
a nick of time -- at a slow 1:52.9 seconds crushing the
dreams of Mario Lanzi of Italy who was closing in rapidly on
the lagging Woodruff -- but Lanzi was not fast enough."
