1.  Coach Hanson, who taught Frank Wykoff -- Charlie Paddock's sprinting starting form, is mentioned in a newspaper article:  "Glendale Plumber's Son Surprised When He Humbled Paddock" Excellent newspaper article written by Maxwell Stiles.  Frank Wykoff  tells the story of his first 18 years of life (biography) after he became an instant celebrity upon defeating Olympic Champion, Charley Paddock in both the 100 and 200 meter races at the 1928 Olympic trials held in Los Angeles on June 16, 1928.  (added 2-9-03)
